A member of the NSCG since 1988, Cynthia wanted to be an artist from the age of 5 and attended weekend workshops while still at school. After leaving school, Cynthia studies commercial art at East Sydney Technical College and won a scholarship and passed with Distinction.
She studied lapidary and silver jewellery in 1970 from Crystal Mantel and with Neil Ralph from 1983-1984.
Cynthia has specialised in lost wax method of casting and has given many workshops in the country on this technique. She has also taught Lapidary at Chatswood Evening College.
Her work has been twice displayed in the Showcase of Excellence at the Royal Easter Show and Cynthia has also won competitions in lapidary clubs.
