Elizabeth has always admired the beauty of precious stones and minerals and has been fascinated by the skill and artistry shown by the jewellers of old. 15 years ago, she was given the opportunity to learn some of these skills when she joined Valerie Aked’s workshop. She joined the NSCG in 2000.
Elizabeth has always loved working with her hands, but found working with metals the most challenging and rewarding of all. 15 years later she is still trying to master some of the advanced technicalities of the craft.
Elizabeth is still working at Valerie Aked’s Silver Studio and has shown her work at a number of craft shows. She is also trying to expand her skills by attending lectures and workshops by a number of well known visiting silversmiths.
