Rachelle Juter

Designer Gemstone, Gold and Silver Jewellery

Rachelle has been a jeweller for more than 18 years, completing her training in design, manufacture gemmology, photography, jewellery drawing and rendering, as well as teaching.

She joined the NSCG in 2006 and was the elected President from 2007 - 2009.

Rachelle has won numerous major national jewellery awards including the Jewellers Association of Australia Excellence in Design and Manufacture and Apprentice of the Year’ Awards.
She has also been recognised by prestigious DeBeers International in their International Diamond Awards with an award of Merit. In 2008, Rachelle won the People's Choice Award at the July NSCG exhibition.

Previously Rachelle worked in the jewellery trade but today primarily focuses on commissions for private clients who appreciate her work and want a very special piece specifically designed and crafted for them.

Rachelle’s unique, individually designed and handmade jewellery is created using one-off rare gemstones, 18ct and 9ct gold or silver to complement the designs.
Sometimes she uses other metals such as titanium, platinum, copper and bronze.
Gemstones are sourced from all over the world, as well as Australia, and all stones are natural and all pieces come with certificates to verify each creation.
Both Rachelle’s grandfather and father were jewellers, and there is a strong tie to her heritage in the field, and that is what drew her to the craft.
