Becky Diacono began to study art in many forms through high school and at university in Minnesota USA.
She has always lived by water and nature from the lakes of Minnesota to the beaches of Los Angeles as well as her current place of residence in Sydney’s Northern Beaches. The lifestyle and the beauty of her local area as well as her travels have greatly influenced her subject matter.
The effects of nature, whether it is from the pounding waves, or erosion on rock platforms and cliffs continue to give her the inspiration she uses to create her art forms of pastels, photography and ceramics.
She began to study the art of Porcelain painting when living in Nairobi Kenya and on her return to Sydney continued to create designs to paint and then began to create her own forms in porcelain clay.
She also has a keen interest in photography as well as painting with pastels.
