The North Shore Craft Group in Sydney, Australia, was founded in 1957 by Phyllis Molesworth, a china painter and potter with the aim to foster an interest in crafts and bring together craftworkers of Sydney’s North Shore who have attained a high degree of proficiency in their particular field.
That aim is still maintained whilst we also facilitate the opportunity for members to showcase their creations through our popular two Annual Exhibitions.
Original well known members include Lloyd Rees, Leonard Greening, Grace Cossington-Smith and Colin Parker.
Membership of the group has grown considerably from the original 12 and includes many national and international award-winning artisans.
